Indian National Congress stood firm as the torchbearer of ‘Indian Nationalism’ and demanded for the creation of ‘United India’ after the departure of the British colonial rule. All Indian Muslim League opposed the idea on ideological basis and demanded for a separate homeland for Muslims in the Muslim majority areas of South Asia. They eventually succeeded in getting Pakistan. What in your opinion would have been the history of the region had Congress succeeded in achieving their goal?
