What if Pakistan was not created?
Webmaster  —  Posted - 02 September 2004 :  14:25:15   Reply to Topic
Indian National Congress stood firm as the torchbearer of β€˜Indian Nationalism’ and demanded for the creation of β€˜United India’ after the departure of the British colonial rule. All Indian Muslim League opposed the idea on ideological basis and demanded for a separate homeland for Muslims in the Muslim majority areas of South Asia. They eventually succeeded in getting Pakistan. What in your opinion would have been the history of the region had Congress succeeded in achieving their goal?

No Panditji--Not at all-- I did not have those intentions. In one of my recent posts, if you read them-- I have said that Pakistanis should start their nation building forgetting Kashmir. They have already seen the futility of violence in Kashmir. After knowing that they cannot resolve the issue with violence or war, they have started begging. I cant understand why they are  so deseparate about Kashmir that they forget their national honour. I was trying to remind them of their National honour and not instigating a war against someone. I also felt that Naeem, being an educated Pakistani would understand me that since there is no point in waging a war, he should not beg for Kashmir.

Please dont misinterpret my views. I did not mean that Pakistanis should wage a war like Mahabharata. They already had in 1965 and then in Kargil in 1999 and if Allah were on their side, they would have won. We do hope , Indians as well as Pakistanis ,that one day-Inshallah- Kashmir will be resolved to the best satisfaction of all concerned and that too without a War.
